Everyone (Program Directors, Professor, Instructors, etc.) plays an important part in academic achievement starting with the quality of instruction in the classroom to data collection to academic assessment. One of the challenges we all face in this process is closing the loop - using the information gained from our assessment of Student learning to create meaningful and effective action plans to remedy any identified gaps or deficiencies in Student learning.
Despite differences among our programs, we share many similar goals for Students learning, and so we can learn a lot from one another about how to address the gaps in Student learning. Please bring some ideas of what is working or not working in your classroom as well as any action plans you have for your programs. Let's collaborate to find ways to support, strengthen, and sustain our program assessment efforts.
