Speed Networking Event

Hosted by the Career Services and Student Life, the Speed Networking Event provides individuals the opportunity to learn how to access the hidden job market and to practice their networking skills. Students will meet and learn from networking mentors, comprised of alumni and local professionals from a variety of career fields.


Event Timeline-Business Casual
5:45 pm: Students and mentors check-in and mingle (bonus networking!)
6:00 pm: Event objectives & expectations (all attendees must be present.)
6:10 pm: Professionals introductions
6:30 to 6:55 pm: Speed Rounds
6:55 pm: Wrap Up
7:00 pm: Event ends 

Students;  Prepare an introduction about yourself that speaks about who you are, why you are here, and your interests. During the speed rounds, you will spend two minutes exchanging information with a fellow attendee. (Each participant has one minute)
